Welcome to our blog at Creative Quilt Kits! I am Andrea, an employee of Creative Quilt Kits. One of my newest responsibilities is to author our blog and give you, our readers and customers an inside look at our shop. In doing this, I hope to provide you with lots of inspiration while taking you on a vitual tour of our humble fabric store. The owners, Gaye and Steve are wonderful people who truly have a passion for the business and they truly love fabric! My coworkers and I are passionate about our craft and about our jobs here. Over the coming months, we will share our individual perspectives on sewing and quilting.
So, to begin, where the heck are we located? In the city of Brighton, Michigan. We are 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor, which is why we carry lots of these:

Because we began as a strictly online business, we have set up shop in an unassuming complex on Grand River Avenue. We are sort of hard to find, but quilters are a crafty bunch. It didn't take long for local quilters to find us and ask to be let in. If you're traveling on Grand River toward downtown Brighton, just take a left at the second drive after Taco Bell. We are in a complex called the Davis Office Center. If it ever stops raining here, I will post pics of our shop in order to help guide you.
